|Brief History of The Church|
|The church started as a fellowship when Evangelist (Now Rev. Dr.) I. K. O. Abraham left Calvary Generation Baptist Church, Oke-Odo, Lagos for evangelism at Iyana-Ilogbo in the year 1995. He started a fellowship called “Fishers of Men Ministries”, an evangelical group which comprises of Mr. Akintola Yemi (Now an Evangelist), Mr. Oluyege (Now a Pastor), Bro. Kayode Ayandele (Now a Pastor), Mr. Ogundipe Jacob (Now a Deacon), Sis. Funmilayo Ayoola (Now Mrs. Olawore) and Mr. Segun Odebunmi (Now a Deacon), who were all members of Calvary Generation Baptist Church, Oke-Odo, Lagos. During this period, a small shop was rented for holding services after which some youths such as Mr. Rotimi Adebayo and Mr. Alade Adeniyi joined the fellowship.
Some years later, after series of development been witnessed by the fellowship, it was handed over to Calvary Generation Baptist Church, Oke-Odo, Lagos. Hence, the name was changed to what it bears today as a result of the adoption.
In the year 1997, Dn. S. B. Odebunmi was appointed to take over the leadership of the church as Evangelist Abraham had been called to start his own ministry. The church witnessed series of development during this period.
In 2010, the church engaged the services of Pastor Yinka Babalola. The church started her extension at Abule Oke in 2011 also called Calvary Generation Baptist Church. In 2013, Pastor Babalola moved on to continue the work of the ministry elsewhere.
